My Hair Transformations

So this is what color my hair was before I re-dyed it. I had spent 6 hours in the salon getting it to this color, and although it was really nice, after a while I wanted it brighter, so I decided to buy L'oriel Hi color highlights I believe that's what they are called in the color red. They also have magenta, and copper if you want a darker red. You can buy them from Sally's Beauty Supply.
















After I left that on for 40 minutes my hair was red but my roots were redder than the rest of my hair..probably because I had 2 toned red hair to start with so, I put Manic Panic Semi Permanent hair dye in Rock n Roll Red on top of the permanent hair dye. Mind you it does wash out, so you will need to re-apply it when it fades.

This is what it looks like now. And no the lighting does not do it justice because my lighting is shit.

I will be trying to get it a brighter red come next week so I will try and put a picture up if I have a chance to. I really don't want to bleach my hair again..

But talking about a hair..funny story.

I wanted blonde hair, and not only that but I wanted it platinum blonde.
Now, of course, I had to bleach my hair, but because my natural hair color was brown, and I was bleaching over a box maroon red, it turned out looking a bit like this...

It wouldn't have looked so bad if my roots weren't still banana yellow..So I bleached it again the next day and it turned out like this.

By this time my hair was fried, so the reason as to why I don't really want to bleach it again, but I want bright red hair...So we shall see what I can do with it..:P

So this is my hair now. It isn't blonde, nor red, or any wacky color anymore. Its just plain brown. My husband wanted me to go back brown, so I did and he prefers it.
