There he stood ... watching in waiting. His eyes full of fear and excitement as I walked through the terminal to greet him. A moment I will never forget. He smiled from ear to ear, as he held me in his arms for the first time. And he had wanted to hold me a long as he could remember. I picked up my belongings, and we left hand-in-hand. He was dressed to impress. The tuxedo suit, cleaned up from head to toe, apart from his shoes to which we both laughed and it broke the ice.never in his life had he felt like this. Or had I ...
For the first time ever, I knew that he was the one, and that I'd love him forever. He was so gentle and sweet. He took me to places that never been before and I was fascinated by everything around me, wanting to take in as much as I could.
His whole family welcomed me with open arms. They invited me on their vacation with them and him. It was the most wonderful time. I can still remember as if it were yesterday. We knew from the day we met, from the day we even started talking to one another that we were meant to be. I could see it in his eyes. The way he looked at me, the way he held my hand, and told me I was the most beautiful woman he had ever met, and that he would cherish every moment with me. The way he looked after me if I was sick, bringing the soup medicine and tucking Me in at night, that lay there next to him and fall asleep with his fingers to running gently through my hair, and and a gentle kiss on my forehead.
Why couldn't all men be like him? ... A new life would be a little different with him being in the military, but he was so handsome, sweet and caring, Who knew I could have ever met some wonderful as him. I was willingly give Him my life ...my everything. I trusted him with my life. He was my one and only true love, and I knew from that moment we first laid eyes on each other. From the first few words we said to each other as we held each other Tightly in each others arms. Those words were I love you
To this day, I remember the 4 words he said to me..as he told me how much he loved me, and that we were meant to be together. I cherish that ring..those words..and that ceremony. Those 4 little words 'Will you Marry me?'..
Now I am a proud Navy wife...I will stand beside him through thick and thin, no matter what is thrown at our life, we will get through it together. I am Proud for what he has done for his country and for what he has done for me. He is my whole life, and I am nothing without him. He is the one person that keeps me going when times get hard. I couldn't ask for a better husband, lover, friend or soul mate. He is all those things and more..
Chris, I want you to know how much I love you, and how much I miss u. Our love has been brought closer together because of you! You may have your faults, as I do, but no matter what you do, even if u make me mad, I could never stay mad at you. I love you too much to be angry, and I feel like i just want to hold u, and snuggle with you like we used to.
TOGETHER....FOREVER...
